I strive to bring that giddy wedding day dancefloor feeling into every stage of wedding planning—from the moment we explore possibilities on your consultation call until you receive that massive gallery no more than eight weeks after you’ve said, “I do!”
When I’m not kicking it with couples, I’m probably snuggled up for a rewatch of one of the Girls (either New or Gossip), humming along to the Midnights album on a neighborhood walk, or catching up with friends over Papas con Rajas tacos at Big Star Tacos! But enough about me for now—your story is the one I’m dying to tell!
So, whether your dream venue is in West Town or you’re planning to hop on a flight from O’Hare to Bali for your big day, I can’t wait to bring my unique spin on wedding photography to your remarkable celebration.
When you’re the child of mixed-race parents, you kinda get used to a life full of opposites. You adopt a mixture of cultures. You take on a blend of unique physical features. And most of all, you learn to adapt to just about anything and find common ground with just about anyone. That’s probably why I was so good as a Kirkland’s customer service rep, even though I don’t know a damn thing about home decor!
But the opposites don’t end there. I mean, I’m just as likely to be watching a rom-com throwback like Clueless as I am a Marvel movie. People tell me I’ve got “tall girl energy” despite barely being 5’3”. And even though I’m a Midwest girl at heart (give me those summers full of jean shorts and sweet corn, please!), I became my favorite version of myself in the big city.
Eventually, that soul-deep blend of opposites permeated the art I created as a photographer, a lifelong hobby I finally turned into a career in 2018. Inspired by Chicago (my favorite city and the one I now call home), I’ve crafted a style that seamlessly blends edge with elegance and beauty with boldness.
