Erin and TJ’s wedding at their Lafayette venue, New Journey Farms, was SUCH an amazing day!  Their day was centered around THEM with literally every detail so thoughtfully planned, executed, and used to celebrate the two of them!  Erin is a feisty fire with a joy-filled personality and then TJ is intentional, loving, and gentle to Erin.  To see these two become one and then celebrate with all of their family and friends was such a joy to witness!  

New Journey Farms, Lafayette Indiana

New Journey Farms in Lafayette Indiana is the CUTEST little farm wedding venue.  This all-in-one wedding venue is SUCH a cool location for a wedding.  With its open setup and spaces for both wedding parties to get ready, you can have every part of your wedding at the venue. Having your entire wedding day in one space saves you on travel time and gives you SO much flexibility when it comes to your wedding day timeline. This came in handy for Erin and TJ’s wedding day as it rained almost ALL day. With flexibility in their schedule, we were able to get photos on the covered patio with their wedding parties, AND we were even able to sneak out for some couples’ portraits when there was a break in the rain!

Getting Ready

Erin and TJ both used New Journey Farms’ to get ready with their wedding parties. With the crazy weather and Erin and TJ’s timeline, this worked out great for making the most of their time they set aside for photos. It was SO much fun getting to see Erin’s crew all light up with excitement as she showed off her beautiful wedding dress. Her mother was especially ecstatic which was so cute! Once both Erin and TJ were ready for their wedding day at New Journey Farms it was time to head to the Lafayette-based farm’s ceremony space. Erin and TJ had originally planned to have their ceremony outdoors, but with the rainy weather not letting up, the venue made the call to have the ceremony indoors.

Their Indoor Ceremony

New Journey Farms in Lafayette has an AMAZING indoor space perfect for a wedding ceremony and reception. Erin and TJ had originally planned to have their ceremony in the farm’s outdoor space, luckily though, the farm has beautiful indoor options to use as an alternative. As everyone gathered for the ceremony it was time for Erin’s entrance which was such an amazing moment. Seeing Erin and TJ’s faces light up when they saw each other was one of the many highlights of the day, and there were definitely a few happy tears shed during their ceremony! After the two said “I do” it was time to sign their paperwork to make it official, and then get their party started!

The Party

I am in LOVE with Erin and TJ’s reception as they were able to fit everything they wanted into their celebration! The night started out with some delicious food and cake accompanied by some lovely speeches about the newlyweds. After everyone had eaten it was time for Erin and TJ to dance with their parents and share their first dance directly after. Once the floor opened up for everyone to start dancing the night FLEW by as everyone was so excited to be celebrating and having the best time with Erin and TJ. The night ended with a sparkler send-off for the newlyweds as they left their Lafayette farm wedding venue and rode off into the night.

I had such an amazing time capturing Erin and TJ’s wedding and celebrating their love with all of their favorite people. They put together the wedding of their dreams and ended up with a day they’ll forever be able to cherish.
