This brewery engagement session in Ravenswood Chicago was seriously something out of a movie.  Natalia and Sam are the sweetest people and LOVE spending time in their Chicago neighborhood of Ravenswood, so as we planned their engagement session we knew that we had to incorporate this adorable neighborhood in their session.

Living in Ravenswood Chicago there is SO much to love so Natalia and Sam started their Ravenswood engagement session at one of their favorite local breweries, Begyle Brewing.  After taking photos at Begyle Brewing we walked around their neighborhood soaking up some of their favorite things about their home.  These two are so fun and down to earth and trusted me throughout the entire process.  Even when I took them into a random parking lot covered with ivy for their photos they trusted my vision, which is all I could ever want out of my clients.

When planning an engagement session at a restaurant, brewery or small business in Chicago, it is SO important to make sure you call ahead of time to see if there are any rules or regulations when it comes to having a photographer there.  Photo sessions can be mildly disruptive to other patrons, especially when using flash, so some restaurants actually allow couples who want to use their space to arrive before their restaurant opens for their engagement session.

To wrap up Natalia and Sam’s session, after finishing their engagement photos at their favorite Chicago brewery,  we made an outfit change headed over to North Avenue Beach.  I LOVE ending my engagement sessions at North Avenue Beach.  There is just so much to love about this popular Chicago destination.  We walked along the beach taking in the sunset views, taking photos and enjoying the city. Luckily we were able to enjoy the skyline without the beach being swamped with other people.  We watched the sunset, and celebrated their engagement by ending the night with some epic photos, a whole lot of laughs and so much love.
