If you’ve been following my insta you might already be familiar with Kati and Sam’s fall wedding at Sixpence in Indiana! And if you’ve seen the posts from their wedding you’ve no doubt been hoping for a blog from their wedding to see even more of the magic that took place on their wedding day. If so, today is your lucky day! We’re going to look at one of my favorite weddings to date with some of my favorite and best people I’ve EVER had the chance to work with!

Getting Ready and a First Touch

Kati and Sam’s fall wedding at Sixpence was a celebration like none other. These two had been dating for a whole TEN years prior to their wedding day, so needless to say everyone involved in their wedding day was beyond excited to finally celebrate these two coming together as one! They started off their wedding day getting ready separately with their wedding parties which was SO much fun. Not only are Kati and Sam some of my favorite people, but so are their friends and fam. They were so loving, supportive, and excited for Kati and Sam and were the best to work with!

Once Kati and Sam were both ready we had some time for portraits with their wedding parties with the insane fall colors that we lucked out with at Sixpence. Before heading to their ceremony Kati and Sam shared a final private moment together by having a first touch which was so sweet. A first touch is a great alternative to a first look on your wedding day if you want the surprise of seeing each other for the first time to happen during your ceremony, and I am 100% here for it!

Their Outdoor Ceremony

The weather was perfect for Kati and Sam’s wedding day and I still can’t get over it! Not only did we have the most gorgeous fall colors, but the weather itself was perfect for their outdoor wedding ceremony at Sixpence. With Kati and Sam not seeing each other prior to the ceremony when it finally came time for Kati to walk down the aisle both she and Sam began tearing up as they saw each other for the first time. It was THE sweetest moment and really hammered home just how meaningful and pure their love is for one another. As their ceremony wrapped up Kati and Sam made their exit as their loved ones cheered them on, and after some family portraits it was time to get their reception underway!

Indoor Reception at Sixpence

For their wedding reception, Kati and Sam opted to head indoors to Sixpence’s beautiful indoor space as the fall weather started to cool off in the evening. I know I mentioned how much I love their wedding party members already, but their entrances to the reception only made me love them more! They kicked off the reception with a bang and got the party started early! Their reception had the best moments in it with first dances, beautiful toasts, and so many laughs and smiles throughout the evening. Later in the evening the dance floor opened up and Kati Sam and their guests really cut loose! They were a riot from start to finish and sent off Kati and Sam’s wedding day in the best way possible. 

By now you can probably see why I’m STILL obsessing over Kati and Sam’s fall wedding at Sixpence! There’s seriously so much to love about these two, their people, and the wedding day they created for themselves.
