Becca + Colton tied the knot on a Sunday at their beautiful intimate wedding venue, Iron and Ember Events in Indiana.  The day was intimate and sweet and filled with endless laughs, hugs and so much damn love.  Becca has quickly become one of my close friends throughout the process of planning their wedding day, so documenting this wedding day for them was absolutely everything! 

Getting Ready for their Indiana Wedding

The second I arrived at their Indiana wedding venue, Iron and Ember Events, the energy level was SO high.  I walked into the room where Becca and her bridesmaids were getting ready and immediately was greeted with so much hype.  Everyone was so happy to celebrate Becca and Colton and their energy was beyond contagious!  We spent time with both Becca and Colton that morning documenting some of the moments that made up their wedding morning before their first look.  We found a sweet and intimate spot for Becca and Colton to see each other for the first time on their wedding morning and give them a moment together before we headed into the rest of their wedding day.

When Becca approached Colton, as usual I suggested that she tap him on the shoulder when she’s right behind him to tell him she’s ready for him to turn around.  Instead though, Becca decided to grab Colton’s butt, and Colton thought it was ME because he thought I would tap him on the shoulder to let him know which way to turn!  He just said “I thought that’s how these things went” as the three of us were all busting a gut laughing SO hard.  We literally had so much fun during their first look, portraits and then celebrating with their wedding party while taking photos of the group before the rest of their wedding day festivities at Iron and Ember Events!

Intimate Wedding at Iron and Ember Events

For their intimate wedding at their venue Iron and Ember Events in Indiana, Becca and Colton decided to do their vows privately.  I love this option for my couples as they are really able to be present with one another and say anything they want to say to one another.  Their private vows were seriously, so beautiful.  We also had been expecting rain the entire wedding day from looking at the forecast of their wedding day the weeks prior, BUT as we were prepping to head to the venue, we found out that the storms are gone and there is literally not a rain cloud during their ceremony! One of Becca’s friends was the officiant for their ceremony which made things that much more special and perfect for their day.

After their ceremony it was time for their reception which was a total RIOT. Every single guest made it out on the dance floor and was singing and dancing their hearts out celebrating Becca and Colton’s love which tied up their wedding day in the best way possible!

Becca and Colton’s wedding day at their Indiana wedding venue, Iron and Ember Events, was perfect in so many ways. Their day was incredible from start to finish and I am SO glad I was able to photograph this wedding day between two beautiful and wonderful people!
