For their wedding day, Emily and Juan wanted to keep things timeless while also adding some of their own personality into the day! I love working with my couples to create a day that is unique to them and their love. Emily and Juan really pulled it off for their wedding day in the Chicago Suburbs and I CANNOT wait to share the day with you all!
For the start of their wedding day, Emily and Juan got ready separately with their closest friends and family at the Holiday Inn Express in Yorkville. Emily and her bridesmaids were a total RIOT together and started off their wedding morning with so much hype! The two kept the details of their wedding day simple and tasteful to keep the focus of the day on celebrating them and the love they share for one another. They opted to not have a first look and instead see one another for the first time at their ceremony which was such a magical moment of their day! Once they were both ready in their wedding attire it was time to head to Emily’s church for their Chicago Suburbs wedding ceremony.
For their ceremony at Emily’s church, she and Juan kept things simple and traditional just how they wanted it! As I mentioned earlier they did not have a first look, so as the ceremony began and Emily began walking down the aisle Juan couldn’t help but tear up with joy which was SUCH a sweet moment! They had a traditional catholic mass for their ceremony with their friends and family in attendance. After their ceremony, it was time to head to their reception space for their Chicago Suburbs wedding which was at the Whitetail Ridge Golf Club. We took some time for newlywed portraits as well as wedding party portraits which were SO much fun. Emily and Juan have such a great crew of friends that really brought the energy to the next level all throughout the day!
Much like the rest of their wedding day Emily and Juan kept their reception decorations on the simple side. One of my favorite details though was how on each of the tables was a handwritten note from some of Emily’s students. It was such a sweet touch to the day that shows how just the smallest details can add SO much to your day! The main focus of their Chicago suburbs wedding reception though was to celebrate with their people.
As you can probably see from their album Emily and Juan are adored by a lot of people who were all eager to celebrate with the newlyweds! Making the party even more fun was their request to the DJ to play a fusion of Spanish and American music which had the dance floor PACKED all night long! This reception was seriously a party from start to finish and the perfect way for Emily and Juan to finish off their wedding day!
I’m so glad I was able to document Emily and Juan’s wedding in the Chicago Suburbs. These two are some truly amazing people and being able to celebrate their day and their love for one another was SO much fun!
