When I look back at Anna and Walter’s wedding day it’s hard to believe how beautifully all the stars aligned to create the perfect celebration for these two wonderful people! Every part of their wedding day, from their rehearsal dinner up through them dancing the night away at the Fowler House Mansion in Indiana, came together perfectly for them. Even mother nature was on our side giving us one of THE most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen, let alone captured on a wedding day!
Anna and Walter started their wedding day getting ready separately, Anna at the Union Club Hotel Purdue, and Walter at their reception space the Fowler House Mansion. Both were surrounded by friends and family helping them prep for their day which was both so fun and SO sweet. Once ready Anna and Walter met up outside of the church that their ceremony would take place at for an intimate moment together. A first touch is a beautiful alternative for a first look on a wedding day. Both Anna and Walter were able to share this time together, reading their vows to one another in private, and taking in all these emotions before the ceremony began.
As their guests found their seats it was time to start their ceremony. Having done a first touch this was the first time Anna and Walter saw one another on their wedding day. As Anna walked down the aisle the two saw each other and were instantly smiling from ear to ear which was so dang cute! They had a traditional wedding ceremony, and before long were officially husband and wife. As they walked down the aisle together they stopped about halfway as Walter dipped Anna and gave her a HUGE kiss! After signing their paperwork and some time for family and wedding party portraits it was time to head to the Fowler House Mansion for their wedding reception.
The rear terrace of the Fowler House Mansion is seriously stunning, and was the perfect romantic setting for Anna and Walter’s wedding reception. Built in 1852 the mansion has its classic feel and architecture still intact, making it an incredible space to experience a wedding reception in. Anna and Walter’s reception there was just as much fun as it was classy. With some truly beautiful wedding toasts, a first dance between Anna and Walter followed instantly with them dancing with their parents together, and that CRAZY sunset I mentioned earlier, it really was a perfect celebration from start to finish! I still remember the moment of seeing the sun peeking through the clouds and rushing off to find Anna and Walter. They were equally as excited as I was and we captured some of my favorite photos to cap off one of my favorite weddings to date!
It’s hard to put into words just how happy I am to have been a part of Anna and Walter’s wedding at the Fowler House Mansion. They were SO much fun to work with and capturing their day was in all honesty a dream come true! If you’d like to see more weddings like Anna and Walter’s check out my blog page.
