Fall Engagement Session at Busse Woods Forest Preserve | Tambree and Jake

The days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dropping, fall is surely upon us! If you’re like me you’re a sucker for the fall time though. With the changing colors and the cozy clothing, I am ALL about the fall vibes!! That’s why I’m so excited to share Tambree and Jake’s engagement session at the Busse Woods Forest Preserve. These two were a treat to work with and are the perfect example of everything I love about fall engagement sessions.

Their Engagement Session in Busse Woods Forest Preserve

Truck Bed snuggles, cozy flannel, and campfire smores, what more could you possibly ask for?! Tambree and Jake’s engagement session at the Busse Woods Forest Preserve really does set the mood for those perfect fall vibes that are very much on their way. The three of us had so much fun together photographing their relationship and their love for one another. I also adore when couples include activities and personal touches that make their session more meaningful to them. Tambree and Jake for instance included their truck as well as some campfire vibes. Having props and activities like this makes your engagement session more fun in general while also getting a bit more of your own personality in the photos.

Outdoor Engagement Sessions as a Chicago Wedding Photographer

With ya girl living in Chicago as a full time wedding photographer it’s nice to have a session here and there where I get to make my way out of the city for some sessions surrounded by the beauty of nature. I used to live in the suburbs of Indianapolis which let me experience many more sessions like Tambree and Jake’s. This made their engagement session at Busse Woods Forest Preserve a bit of a throwback for me which was SO fun! As much as I adore my sessions and weddings in the Windy City it’s good to get back out into nature from time to time!
