Engagement Photos at Chicago’s North Avenue Beach | Lexi and Anthony

I’m excited to share a fun little twist on one of my favorite locations in Chicago to take engagement photos, North Avenue Beach! Before we get to that though we first get to start off Lexi and Anthony’s engagement session at one of the coziest restaurants in River North. Trust me this engagement session is one you’re not going to want to skip out on!

Photos at Ciccio Mio in River North

For the first part of their session we hit up the incredible Ciccio Mio in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. I want to give a special shout out to the staff at Ciccio Mio as they were so relaxed and totally fine with us using the space early in the day since we called ahead. As for the photos Lexi and Anthony are complete naturals in front of the camera! Working with them was a real treat as they were SO down to try anything and everything. Their classy outfits also fit the high end vintage vibe of Ciccio Mio perfectly as well. Really it’s hard to imagine a more perfect way to start our session. We took advantage of the different styles of furniture and settings in Ciccio Mio before making our way to North Avenue Beach for the rest of their engagement photos!

Engagement Photos at North Avenue Beach

North Avenue Beach is one of THE go to spots for engagement photos in Chicago. Usually though it’s either a sunrise or sunset session that takes place here, that wasn’t the case for Lexi and Anthony’s! We had their session earlier in the afternoon with some PRETTY high sun which is a bit trickier to work with than the other times of day. Lexi and Anthony put their full trust in me though and their photos came out STUNNING as a result! Just like with our time in Ciccio Mio, Lexi and Anthony’s style was immaculate for our photos on North Avenue Beach. They both wore some more casual attire along with their stylish coats to bring the fall vibes into play which worked out perfectly. Lexi’s blue dress really stole the show though!

Lexi and Anthony’s engagement session really took advantage of some of the best parts of Chicago. Between the cozy restaurant vibes and the picturesque views at North Avenue Beach, their engagement photos have it all!
