Wicker Park Engagement Session | Sage + Jorge

Sage, Jorge and I had a ridiculous amount of fun during their engagement session and I CANNOT wait for you all to see these photos! These two were such a dream to work with and we had the most perfect Chicago day on our hands for their session. We started off their engagement session at their new home neighborhood of Wicker Park.

Sage and Jorge originally found me on Instagram and as we got to talking about their engagement session it was clear they wanted to highlight the city and their new home of Wicker Park during their session. Wicker Park is where they bought their first place together, so it made total sense to capture this next chapter of their relationship here! We took our time walking around Wabansia Avenue and their neighborhood, taking in all the beauty that Wicker Park has to offer. It was so much fun walking around with Sage and Jorge, exploring their new home and capturing their love for one another there. Once we had the photos we wanted we decided to head to North Avenue Beach for sunset.

Cotton Candy Skies at North Ave Beach 

We got to North Avenue Beach and after a quick outfit change headed right down to the water for the next part of their session. There surprisingly weren’t too many people there during our session which made it all the more special for Sage and Jorge. We lucked out with some beautiful cotton candy skies and Sage and Jorge had the best time dancing, loving on each other, and popping champagne to celebrate this next chapter of their lives together. As the sun set, we decided to head back to Wicker Park for the final part of their engagement session before calling it.

Once we got back to Wicker Park we made our way to their apartment and headed up to the roof for the last bit of their engagement session. Being underneath the moon and the night sky as the sun set with the Chicago skyline behind us was such an incredible experience and really capped off their engagement session in the best way possible!
