Grace and Adam’s late-night Chicago elopement was SO MUCH FUN. After eloping at the Chicago courthouse I met them out at the Museum Campus where we had the best time all together soaking in their wedding day and taking some EPIC portraits. Grace and Adam decided to elope at City Hall and wanted to have some portraits done after to commemorate their wedding day and that’s what we did!
Chicago is full of so much magic and fun during the day, but I have to say, the magic that comes from the city at night is NEXT LEVEL. With the lights and the skyline and the feeling of excitement that comes with the evening in Chicago there is just so much to love. Prior to Grace and Adam’s newlywed session, it had been storming like CRAZY but in true Midwest fashion, we got the most gorgeous sunset EVER after the rain. After the rain subsided we headed out to Chicago’s Museum Campus to explore the area during sunset and after dark and take some epic sunset and night portraits for their elopement day.
Though yes, we can just walk around and take portraits for your Chicago elopement, planning an activity such as exploring a new part of town or doing something fun together makes for SUCH a fun experience for you on your wedding day. When planning your wedding or elopement, you should fill your day with experiences that you LOVE to do together, not just what you feel like you have to do on a wedding day! Explore somewhere new, go out for your favorite food, or pop champagne somewhere epic, there are SO many fun and unique ways to celebrate your wedding day. Be sure to incorporate downtime and exciting events into your wedding day, and plan your dream day so that it’s full of everything you love!
