Engagement Photos in the Heart of Downtown Chicago

Even though we aren’t actually in an episode of Gossip Girl, this Downtown Chicago engagement session would ABSOLUTELY fit right in with S and B’s elegant chic city vibes! Sydney and Josh’s session took us all around the Merchandise Mart and the Chicago Riverwalk. So many laughs, lots of twirling, and you know I made them show off that ring, because HOW COULD YOU NOT!? And of course they ended with a little champagne pop during blue hour to celebrate being engaged in the heart of this dreamy city!

Engagement Photos with a Chic City Sparkle

We started with a stunning formal look – Sydney in a beautiful white high square neck mini dress and white kitten heels with THE most adorable bow accent. Josh kept it clean and formal with a black pinstripe suit jacket, dress pants, and white button up. For their second look, they both wanted to keep things a little more casual (but still keeping up with that chic city sparkle) with a flowy linen maxi dress, khakis, and a solid navy bomber jacket. 

The outfits, the city, and the Downtown Chicago lights all came together so beautifully for their engagement session. These two were SUCH a fun-loving couple with personality that shines through in their photos, and I cannot wait for their next adventure!
