Fall Lincoln Park Engagement Session

Becca and Colton’s s fall engagement session in Lincoln Park Chicago could not have been more perfect. We lucked out with some amazing weather and these two are seriously SO much fun to be around. We were laughing and having a blast for the entire session. It felt like we were all college buddies getting back together for a night on the town!  Not to mention HER RED DRESS.  It was stunning!

Lincoln Park Engagement Session

We started off Becca and Colton’s engagement session at the Nature Boardwalk in Lincoln Park. This has to be one of my favorite spots in the city. The Nature Boardwalk’s architecture is stunning and frames the Chicago skyline beautifully! We wandered the park for a while and found some amazing spots for some more photos. Lincoln Park has a TON of variety to it making for some great photo opportunities. Combined with the gorgeous sunlight we had that day and we really couldn’t have asked for a better start to their session.

North Ave Beach

From Lincoln Park we headed over to the nearby North Avenue beach for the next part of Becca and Colton’s engagement session. The two had an outfit change in between locations and the red dress that Becca changed into was absolutely stunning! It popped so much against the water it was legitimately jaw dropping. Then, we finished off the afternoon with some champagne in the sunset before heading our separate ways for the evening.

Choosing a Location for Your Engagement Session

When it comes to choosing a location for your engagement session there are a couple important things to keep in mind. First, you’ll want a little variety for the location. For Becca and Colton’s fall, Lincoln Park engagement session they chose a very popular Chicago spot with two locations in one. The Lincoln Park Boardwalks sit right next to North Avenue beach. This makes it an extremely popular location for engagement photos in Chicago. You’ll also want to make sure that you like the look and atmosphere of your location(s) and bonus points if they mean something to you and your honey!

I had such a great time working with Becca and Colton, it was so hard to say goodbye at the end of their session! They’re some of the most fun people I’ve gotten to work with, and with the amazing weather and being in Lincoln Park this is easily one of my favorite engagement sessions.
