Courtney and Will’s timeless intimate Illinois wedding at their barn venue was SO much fun, and I’m still sitting here soaking in the memories looking back at these photos!  Courtney and Wills’ wedding day was filled with so many intimate moments, hugs, and a WHOLE lot of celebration with the people that mean the most to them.

Getting Ready

Courtney had her mom button up her dress for her and then she had planned in a first look with both her bridal party and her dad which were both so sweet.  When clients incorporate a first look into their wedding day, they are essentially setting aside some time with that specific person to have some quality time together, and that is exactly what Courtney did! 

Their Illinois Wedding Ceremony

For their wedding ceremony at their intimate venue in Illinois, they set up their neon sign over a beautiful floral display in the barn and surrounded by their friends and family they tied the knot!  These two are some of the sweetest and happiest people, so witnessing their wedding surrounded by their closest friends and family just reinforced to me that I have the best job in the world.  After their wedding ceremony we snuck off with their wedding party to celebrate.  They were the BEST hype crew, and we had SO much fun celebrating the newly weds while taking photos.

Their Reception and Sunset Photos

One of the best things about intimate weddings is that there is always enough time to sneak out for some sunset photos.  One of the downsides of Illinois weddings is the unpredictability that comes with the Illinois weather.  Leading up to their wedding day, the weather was a little all over the place, so the probability of us getting a sunset was 50/50 or so.  When working with me on your wedding day though we ALWAYS keep our hopes high, and the sun almost always pulls through for us.  The sun came out JUST for us and the wind was barely there!
