Chicago Backyard Tent Wedding | Lauren and Brinton

If you’ve ever considered having a backyard tent wedding but are a bit on the fence, Lauren and Brinton’s wedding gallery may just push you over the edge! These two created a wedding celebration that they’ll be able to ADORE looking back on for years and years to come. Their wedding was one of THE most fun that I have ever photographed and I cannot wait for you to see the highlights from their day!

Getting Ready and Their Ceremony

Lauren and Brinton started off their wedding day getting ready separately. The two did not have a first look prior to their ceremony so anticipation and excitement were running high throughout the morning! Lauren got ready for her wedding with the help of her mom in a room overlooking their backyard tent reception space. Once everyone was dressed and we had a few solo portraits it was time to head to the church for their ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and SO emotional. Afterwards we had some time for some couples portraits, wedding party portraits, and family photos before it was time to get their reception underway!

Their Backyard Tent Wedding with Fireworks!

Lauren and Brinton’s reception was one of the most fun and wild receptions I’ve been a part of! They and their guests know how to party and they all had THE best time celebrating the newlyweds together. The reception started off on a more tame note with some incredible speeches and an emotional first dance between Brinton and his mom. Before long though it was time to open up the dance floor for their guests. The dance floor of their backyard tent was PACKED for the entirety of the wedding reception which was so much fun! It legit felt like something out of a movie. Only one thing remained before it was time to roll the credits though, and that was for Lauren and Brinton to kiss underneath their epic firework display. Talk about ending the night with a literal bang!

Lauren and Brinton’s backyard tent wedding is one that I am going to be forever grateful to have been a part of! Their day was just SO much fun from start to finish, it makes me so glad that backyard tent weddings are back on the rise in Chicago and its surrounding areas.
